Joy of Learning Month Program

This programme was inaugurated by the assembled children itself by lighting the lamp. The children participated in all the competition eagerly most important being reading library books like Kum. Ganga of Makkala dhama who being 11y old who has read 30 books, Mastripalyas migrated boy from Gulbarga who was working as daily wages worker was able to tell multiplication tables up to 60 answering any questions in table was a specialty. There were children from 12 to 14 years who has read 50 to 60 books was common. Many children in this programme who had participated had more than 80% of them were school dropouts, children who has never gone to school was special. Their special skill exhibited was also extra ordinary The organizers who tried to bring out their special skill competitions could find the hidden talent in the children . It was a new talent experienced by judges. A child who is invalid dumb and deaf child names Yohan even gave a demonstration of twisting act of stick make all dumbfounded.

Lastly in group dance children’s from makkala dhama (RST)centers exhibited the stick folk dance entertained every one present, the children from sangeevini nagar exhibited a dance about national integration and urban educationally deprived children from shivaginagar presented a song from jogayya’ entertained each and every one present on occasion. During prize distribution Ceremony ,

Sri Jayaranga BEO North-4 spoke to children , told that people from all corner of India migrated to Bangalore has increased, the children from these families were deprived of education and essential things The different departments of government , volunteering organization like sparsha have to come forward and present a good civilized life to these children. what I learnt from this programme is t hat poor deprived children talent has to be brought out and associations or organization who are struggling to present a good life to children , the government should recognize such agencies . After presentation trophies to all educational deprived children he informed that by next November he wanted to reach much more educational deprived children.
